Community Based Services
About Community Engagement
- Community Engagement is a person-centered service designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build meaningful connections, develop practical life skills, and participate fully in everyday life within their communities.
- Through small group experiences and individualized support, participants engage in a wide variety of community-based activities tailored to their interests, goals, and abilities. These may include visits to local parks, libraries, volunteer sites, recreational centers, cafés, fitness classes, and more.
- At Involve to Evolve, we use the community as a natural learning environment where individuals can practice social skills, explore interests, increase independence, and gain confidence. With support from trained Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), participants learn to navigate real-world settings safely and successfully.
- Our goal is to promote inclusion, foster independence, and help individuals live vibrant, engaged lives beyond traditional care settings.
